K-Kāpehu is a project designed to enhance the accessibility and navigability of Karangahape Road (K Road) in Auckland, particularly in light of the new Karanga-a-Hape train station. The project aims to create an intuitive wayfinding system that supports local businesses and enriches the experience for both residents and visitors.

The aim is to transform K Road into a more navigable, attractive, and inclusive space, fostering a stronger connection between the new train station and the vibrant local community. By focusing on intuitive design, exploration, beautification, and accessibility, the project seeks to create a lasting positive impact on K Road’s urban landscape.

Contribution from Cynthia Ying Liu, Kirat Kaur Grewal, and Luyanda Ngwenya.
