As a freelance fashion photographer, I had the opportunity to shoot the AUT fashion graduate show. As a former student of AUT fashion, I was keen to show the students' latest works, especially since this was the first year group to have studied without the restrictions of the COVID-19 lockdown throughout their entire degree.

Their work really blew me away. Each graduating class has a different overall feel every year, represented in their final collections' outcomes. This year, soft, ethereal forms were interlaced with stark, contrasting textures, sculptured tailoring, and dressmaking that evoke a spooky undertone to the spectacle.
