Inspired by a desire to establish queer erotic-romance narratives outside of heteronormativity, Deprival traverses the knife edge of a gothic melodrama, depicting the gruelling moments between holding onto one's solitary constraints or embracing an intimate collision. The apparel’s design emphasises body and queer inclusivity by fragmenting gendered forms and utilising corsetry’s body-morphing properties.
